Roger Kelman

Roger studied broadcasting at Aberdeen College but joined the family business in 2000 when the team urgently needed a van driver! He went on to spend time working in every Waverley department to build up an encyclopaedic knowledge of the business and sector before becoming co-owner with sister Kirsty in 2015.

Roger is married with two sons and two dogs who keep him fit, as does hill walking and going to the gym.

Kirsty Kelman

Kirsty is a music graduate from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, but returned to Aberdeen in 2009 to join the family business. She started out working in stores, handling orders and learning in intricate detail all about Waverleyā€™s extensive product range. She became co-owner with brother Roger in 2015. Kirsteen is married, sheā€™s a keen hill walker, and is also kept busy at home with two young children and Rosie, the Labrador.

Johnny Adams

Delivery Driver/warehouse Assistant

Johnny has been with Waverley since 2009 and delivers orders to clients across the north-east of Scotland. He loves his job and is often heard singing as he goes about his work. He is a devoted grandad who spends much of his time away from work with his grandchildren. Jonny is also a first-class darts player and enjoys watching football.

Chris Langworth

Technical Sales Engineer

Chris joined Waverley in 2011 and has 12 yearsā€™ experience in the cutting tool sector.

He knows the business inside out and as a project engineer is a key link with Waverleyā€™s clients who look to him for guidance and view him as an extra member of their own teams.

Away from work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife on their allotment. They are both passionate gardeners and enjoy growing a wide range of vegetables. Chris is also well known for his home-brewed wines and beers.

Ross Davie

Technical Sales Engineer

Ross Davie has been a valuable member of the Waverley team since 2021. With 20 years of experience in Cutting Tool Sales, Ross was hired to drive new business development across Glasgow and the Central Belt. Heā€™s passionate about promoting and implementing top-notch cutting tools and workshop equipment, always dedicated to reducing manufacturing costs and boosting profitability for his customers. Outside of work, Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, cycling, fly fishing, hill walking, and anything that comes in a pint glass!

Inventory Control Manager

GregĀ brings a wealth of diverse experience to the Waverley team. Greg honed his skills in building and managing restaurants before transitioning into the engineering sector, which equips him with a sharp eye for efficiency and innovation. At Waverley, Greg isĀ focused on enhancing operational efficiency and expanding our online platform, drawing on his successful track record in both hospitality management and implementing management systems in a machine shop environment. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending quality time with his family, fishing, and coaching at Banks of Dee.Ā 

Gary Tomlinson

Business Development Manager

Gary joined us in 2024 as the Business Development Manager, focusing on industrial products like PPE, abrasives, and tools. With previous experience as Area Sales Manager at Rotabroach and ATA, he excels in building supplier relationships and identifying market opportunities. Outside of work, Gary manages Braehead AFC, an amateur football team in Glasgow, and enjoys family life with his wife Lynsay and two sons.

Jo Bullen

Accounts Payable

Jo joined Waverley in October 2022 and has been an integral part of the team for nearly two years. Specialising in accounts payable, consignment stock ordering, and invoicing, Jo ensures smooth financial processes and efficient stock management. Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending time with her family and unwinding by going out for walks.
