Kirsty Burrows

Kirsty is a music graduate from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, but returned to Aberdeen in 2009 to join the family business. She started out working in stores, handling orders and learning in intricate detail all about Waverley’s extensive product range. She became co-owner with brother Roger in 2015. Kirsteen is married, she’s a keen hill walker, and is also kept busy at home with two young children and Rosie, the Labrador.

Angela Kelman
Accounts payable/Purchase Ledger

Angela works part time as a member of the Waverley finance team and handles accounts payable.

She is married to ‘the boss’ — Sales Director Roger Kelman — and they have two young sons and two Scottish terriers.

Lindsay Swan
Senior Administrator
Since joining Waverley in 2000, Lindsay-Anne has been in charge of checking all sales and purchase invoices, handling petty cash and supporting her colleagues in sales and purchasing when required. She has a range of office skills qualifications.

She loves working for Waverley — and handling numbers — and away from the office enjoys socialising with friends, the company of her two Ragdoll cats, quizzes, reading, and watching detective and comedy shows on TV.

Johnny Adams
Delivery Driver/warehouse Assistant
Johnny has been with Waverley since 2009 and delivers orders to clients across the north-east of Scotland. He loves his job and is often heard singing as he goes about his work. He is a devoted grandad who spends much of his time away from work with his grandchildren. Jonny is also a first-class darts player and enjoys watching football.
Irene Ritchie
Account Manager/ Account Receivable
 Irene has been a Waverley team member since 2007 and is based in the finance department. She attended Aberdeen College of Commerce where she gained a certificate in computer and machine accounts, and she has two further customer service certificates.

She is married with one daughter and has several pets.

Sandra MacNaughton
senior Internal Sales
 Sandra has been part of the Waverley team since 1985 and her role includes sourcing products, supplying quotes — to clients both in the UK and worldwide — and processing and overseeing all orders.

Everyone at Waverley works together well, she says, and will help each other out whenever necessary as part of a nice family.

Sandra married the same year she joined the company and she and her husband have a grown-up son. They also have a cat which she describes as a ‘total pain’.

Chris Langworth
Technical Sales Engineer

Chris joined Waverley in 2011 and has 12 years’ experience in the cutting tool sector.

He knows the business inside out and as a project engineer is a key link with Waverley’s clients who look to him for guidance and view him as an extra member of their own teams.

Away from work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife on their allotment. They are both passionate gardeners and enjoy growing a wide range of vegetables. Chris is also well known for his home-brewed wines and beers.

Chris Norrie
Sales and Procurement Coordinator
 Chris’ role includes sourcing and supplying a wide range of machine shop consumables to Waverley clients, including PPE, lubricants, cleaners, and abrasives.

He joined Waverley in 2017, quickly felt he was part of a large family, and was immediately impressed by the company’s focus on customer service.

 

Jay Saturinas
Storeman
 Jay joined Waverley in 2006 and handles all incoming and outgoing consignments as well as the company’s mail. Away from work, Jay spends most of his spare time with his family. He also loves photography — particularly people and portraits — and is a bit of a tech geek.
Rosie Burrows
Guard Dog
 Rosie our loveable guard dog ensures that moral is high in the office. she also keeps everyone on their toes, but as long as you have treats for her all through the day, she is always as good as gold.
